Version 1.4.4 of MathCode C++ and 1.2.4 of MathCode F90 were released on Jyly 4th 2011.

Wolfram Research Acquires MathCore, March 30, 2011
Wolfram Research, developer of Mathematica and Wolfram|Alpha, announced today that it has acquired MathCore Engineering AB. The acquisition of MathCore is part of Wolfram Research’s large-scale strategy for engineering and related fields. In addition to MathCore’s current products--which will continue to be sold and developed--a major effort is being undertaken to integrate MathCore’s core technology stack into the Wolfram Research technology stack.

Modelica conference 2011 (Germany)

Wolfram Technology Conference (USA)
MathCore will take part in the Wolfram Technology Conference, October 13-15, in Champaign, Illinois, USA. MathCore will attend the III Congress of Mathematica in Salamanca, Spain, July 1-3 2009. At the event you will be able to participate at a MathModelica tutorial as well as learn how to use Mathematicas parallelization technology to parallelize MathModelica simulations.

MathModelica 2.0.1 released
Version 2.0.1 of MathModelica System Designer and MathModelica System Designer Professional were released on May 12th 2009.

MathCode C++ 1.4.2 and MathCode F90 1.2.2 released
Version 1.4.2 of MathCode C++ and 1.2.2 of MathCode F90 were released on May 12th 2009.

MathModelica tutorial at MATHMOD (Austria)

MathCore took part in the 2008 Mathematica users conference, presenting the papers "Full Systems Modeling with Mathematica Using MathModelica", by Jan Brugård, and "Simulation and Analysis with Mathematica and MathModelica", by Peter Aronsson.
MathModelica 1.3.1 released
Version 1.3.1 of MathModelica System Designer and MathModelica System Designer Professional were released on September 19th 2008.
This is a maintanence release, which also adds support for the Modelica delay operator.
Prague Mathematica Conference 2008 (Czech Republic)
The Prague Mathematica Conference 2008, taking place at the Czech Technical University in the Czech Republic, is a unique opportunity to see the new landscape that Mathematica 6 opens up and to discover the breadth of applications it can address. The conference will be held as a one day event the 24th of September.
At the conference MathCore's CEO, Jan Brugård, will hold a presentation about modeling with MathModelica and Mathematica.

MathModelica 1.3 released
Version 1.3 of MathModelica System Designer and MathModelica System Designer Professional were released on June 9th 2008.

Model-Based-Design with MathModelica and Mathematica (Netherlands)
Monday, 23rd of June, we will hold a MathModelica tutorial at the 9th International Mathematica Symposium, Maastricht, The Netherlands. The attendants will learn how to develop their own models in MathModelica and how to analyze models and model results in Mathematica. The tutorial has the following goals:
- Demonstrating the powerful combination of using MathModelica for modeling of dynamic systems and Mathematica for the analysis and documentation of results.
- Being easily accessible for people who do not previously have a background in modeling, and simulation.
- Introducing the concepts of physical modeling, object-oriented modeling and component-based modeling and simulation.
Seminar/mini course: Modeling for Biotech applications

Version 1.4 of MathCode C++ was released on August 2, 2007. The release includes:
- Mathematica 6 compatibility
- First MathCode release for MacOSX platform (Mathematica 6.0 only, Intel processors only)
- New interface capabilities to latest compilers
- Visual C++ 2005 Studio and Visual C++ 2005 Express edition (Windows only)
- Support for latest g++ of versions up to 4.1 (Linux and MacOSX only)

MathModelica 1.2 released
New versions of MathModelica System Designer and MathModelica System Designer Professional were released on July 20, 2007. The release features support for new model libraries as well as Mathematica 6 compatibility.

MathModelica System Designer 1.1 and MathModelica System Designer Professional 1.1 released
New versions of MathModelica System Designer and MathModelica System Designer Professional were released January 25 2007. The MathModelica System Designer release includes:
- Major speedup in translation of large models
- Setting initial values in Simulation Center
- Ability to verify model equations in the model editor
- Possibility to run the model editor and Simulation Center independently of each other
- Ability to interrupt ongoing simulations in Simulation Center
- Better support for state selection
- Quality improvements in plotting, translation, renaming components and classes, etc.
Furthermore the MathModelica System Designer Professional release also includes:
- Possibility to extract model equations of Modelica models and import them into Mathematica
- Functionality to verify model equations in notebook environment
- Improved documentation

Biomechanical Mathematical Modeling with Modelica and the BioChem Library

The BioChem library presented here is the first free Modelica library available for mathematical
modeling of biochemical processes. Three examples are shown to illustrate the library, including an
insulin model, a simplified model of cholesterol, and a simple drug model.
The BioChem library allows for fast and end-user friendly modeling of biomedical systems. The graphical user interface provides graphics similar to that used in the description of metabolic pathways in biochemistry.
MathModelica – Hands On session

MathCode C++ 1.3 for Linux released
A new version of MathCode C++ for Linux was released January 17th 2007. The release includes:
- Support for Complex data type, and arrays of Complex numbers
- Compilation of Complex arithmetics, all trivial Complex functions (Re, Im, Abs, Arg, Conjugate), and trigonometric functions for Complex numbers and arrays of them.
- Compilation of Fourier and InverseFourier
- New demo examples for NIntegrate and FindMinimum
- Improved installation script
Germany Mathematica Tour 2006 (Germany)
MathCore will participate in the Mathematica Germany Tour 2006. This is a great opportunity for you not only to meet and discuss with us regarding MathModelica System Designer, MathModelica System Designer Professional, MathModelica Lite, MathCode C++ or MathCode F90, but also to learn more about Mathematica.
You are invited to "Introducing a New Era of Mathematica Technology," taking place in Berlin, Munich, and Frankfurt on 7, 8, 9 November, respectively.

MathModelica System Designer Released
MathModelica System Designer and MathModelica System Designer Professional were released on October 12th, 2006. In contrast to the earlier version of MathModelica, this new version is independent of other software, with the exception for the Professional edition which requires Mathematica. MathCode C++ 1.3.1 released
MathCode C++ 1.3.1 for Windows was released on June 14 2006. Version 1.3.1. includes an improved installation script, better documentation and several quality improvements.

Dr. Peter Aronsson
MathCore is proud to congratulate our employee Peter Aronsson as the company's fifth Doctor of Science. Dr. Aronsson successfully defended his dissertation "Automatic Parallelization of Equation-Based Simulation Programs" at Linköping University on June 5, 2006.
MathCode C++ 1.3 released
MathCode C++ 1.3 for Windows was released on February 2, 2006. The new key features include generation of code for the Complex data type and supporting functions, simplified compiler configuration, and quality improvements.
Support for the Complex data type makes MathCode C++ the perfect product for rapid prototyping and faster execution in areas where Complex arithmetic is extensively used, e.g. image processing, signal processing, etc.
Modelica seminars in Spain
MathCore will, together with AddLink, give three seminars in Spain, about Modelica. The seminars will be given in: Barcelona July 5, Bilbao July 6 and Madrid July 7.
MathCode F90 1.0.1 released

Jan Brugård new CEO
As a consequence of MathCore's expanding business Jan Brugård has been elected as MathCore's new CEO, succeeding Professor Peter Fritzson. "I look forward to the challenge of leading MathCore's continued growth. We have several exciting projects ahead, within product development as well as consulting. Clarifying our benefits further and with a stronger emphasis on sales will produce good possibilities for a continued growth", says Jan Brugård, former product manager of the company.
Release of new Modelica book
A new book on Modelica technology was published February 2004 by professor Peter Fritzson, chairman and CEO of MathCore Engineering AB. "Principles of Object-Oriented Modeling and Simulation with Modelica 2.1", 940 pages, Wiley-IEEE Press, ISBN 0-471-471631. The book introduces the latest methods of object-oriented component-based system modeling and simulation, and provides a tutorial and reference of the latest version of Modelica with hundreds of examples, from a number application areas. MathCore Engineering AB triples turnover
MathCore Engineering AB sells products and consultancy services in modeling and simulation of primarily complex technical systems. The past fiscal year (September 1, 2003 - August 30, 2004) has been very successful, almost tripling the Company's turnover to more than 6 million SEK. Read more here.
MathCode Reseller agreement with Wolfram Research
Effective from February 1, 2004, MathCore signed a non-exclusive
redistribution agreement for the MathCode C++, with Wolfram
Research, Champaign, USA, for world-wide distribution.
A similar non-exclusive redistribution agreement was signed for the new
product MathCode F90, effective from December 1 2004, with Wolfram
Research, Champaign, USA, also for world-wide distribution.
