MathModelica Lite
MathModelica Lite is the most basic edition in the MathModelica family, providing a basic graphical modeling environment for the Open Source Modelica environment developed at Linköping University. It is free for academic and personal use but not available for commercial use.
OpenModelica requirement
OpenModelica version 1.4.3 must be installed on your computer before installing MathModelica Lite. Find out more about OpenModelica at the OpenModelica web site.
Support
Please note that MathCore does not provide any support for the Lite edition of MathModelica System Designer. For questions regarding OpenModelica, contact PELAB, Linköping University, at openmodelica@ida.liu.se.

MathModelica Lite is ideal for small student projects, however for research projects and courses MathModelica System Designer or MathModelica System Designer Professional are recommended. Trial versions are available for both MathModelica System Designer and MathModelica System Designer Professional.
