MathCode C++ Requirements
MathCode C++ is available on the following platforms:
Microsoft Windows
MathCode C++ for Microsoft Windows requires Microsoft Windows 2000, XP Home, XP Pro, XP Professional x64 Edition, or Vista
Mathematica
A full installation (including the MathLink Addon package) of Mathematica 5.2 or 6.0 or 7.0 is required. Previous Mathematica versions 3.0, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 5.0, 5.1 are supported in MathCode C++ 1.3.1, but not in MatheCode C++ 1.4.
C++ compiler
A free C++ compiler is already included in the MathCode C++ for Microsoft Windows distribution. If you wish to use a commercial compiler, such as Visual C++, please follow the instructions below.
Visual C++
Microsoft Visual C++ compiler versions 6.0, 7.0, 7.1, 8.0, 9.0 are supported. The installation program automatically finds Microsoft Visual C++ on your computer.

Linux
MathCode C++ for Linux requires any 32-bit or 64-bit Linux distribution where Mathematica is supported.
Mathematica
A full installation (including the MathLink Addon package) of Mathematica 5.2, 6.0 or 7.0 is required. Previous Mathematica versions 3.0, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 5.0, 5.1 are supported in MathCode 1.3.1, but not in MatheCode 1.4.
C++ compiler
On Linux the GNU C++ (g++) compiler is used.

MacOS X
MathCode C++ for MacOS X requires MacOS X Tiger or Leopard and Intel processor. Intel processors are supported only. You need the GCC compiler which is included in free XCode toolkit . MacOSX version 10.4 ("Tiger"), release 10.4.10 with XCode 2.4.1 (which includes GCC 4.0.1) (or MacOSX version 10.5 ("Leopard"), release 10.5.* with XCode 3.1.1 (which includes GCC 4.0.1)) on Intel Core 2 Duo is recommended.
Mathematica
A full installation (including the MathLink Addon package) of Mathematica 5.2.2, 6.0 or 7.0 is required. Mathematica versions 5.2.1 and earlier are not supported.
C++ compiler
On MacOS the GNU C++ (g++) compiler is used.
