MathLetter #1, July 2007

People have asked us to keep them informed about the latest MathCore news, and to meet this request we are proud to introduce our newsletter, MathLetter, with the ambition to keep you informed about upcoming releases and events.

In this first MathLetter issue we have a couple of exciting pieces of news for you, including the latest MathModelica release. We hope that you will find MathLetter both informative and fun to read. We look forward to your suggestions for upcoming issues.

MathModelica — New version released on July 20

Including support for several new libraries, improved user interface, and Mathematica 6 compatibility, the latest MathModelica release is a huge step forward. Users of MathModelica System Designer will benefit from this extensive set of new libraries and improved user interface, while users of MathModelica System Designer Professional will also benefit from the Mathematica 6 compatibility.

A new release of MathModelica Lite with support for the latest OpenModelica kernel will also be available soon.

MathCode - New version including support for Mathematica 6 and MacOSX

New releases of MathCode C++ and MathCode F90 are on their way and are expected late July and August respectively. Both releases will include Mathematica 6 compatibility and the first version of MathCode for MacOSX will also be launched.

New Model Libraries

Three new model libraries for MathModelica System Designer and MathModelica System Designer Professional, Magnetic, BioChem, and BondLib, will be made available for download during the summer.

Free online seminars

Our seminar series provide you with an easy way to learn about what's new in MathModelica and MathCode. The seminars are held by senior MathCore technical staff and are of interest for newcomers as well as experienced users.

These seminars are live and run for 1 hour, including 10-15 minutes for questions. They are given online, so anyone with an internet connection can attend.
